The Good Girl Book Club™ endeavors to
encourage aspiring Christian women through pro-active reading and
on-line discussions by choosing books that will address every aspect
of a woman's world: spiritual, physical, emotional, social and financial.
The Good Girl Book Club™ will entertain
and inspire readers while strengthening their relationship with
Christ, foster personal growth and equip readers to live faithfully
in an increasingly secular world.

It is a delight having you in cyber-space with us. Please make your
self at home because I trust that you will make very good friends
here, find support and encouragement, as well as good, clean fun!
What more can you ask-you are in a special place-a community for
good girls!
This on-line literary ministry is the result of a divine inspiration
that I received from the Lord. As a voracious reader, I always read
Christian living and spiritual growth books as a supplement to my
Bible. My favorite pastime (since my days of reading Dr. Seuss and
having a membership to the Walt Disney book-club) is spending hours
in my local Christian bookstore searching for just the right book
for my personal issues or as a gift for a loved one. As a result,
I have become a voracious and enthusiastic reader and often "prescribe"
just the right book to family and friends.
The mission of Good Girl Book ClubT is to make you
aware of the power that books have to heal, encourage, entertain
and inspire you. Gone is the excuse that you don't like to read
or you don't have time. This community will make it fun and hold
you accountable. When we read fiction books together we will lean
how to analyze the characters and situations as they may relate
to our lives. Also, as we explore non-fiction books, we will
also see how reading material can help to improve our lives. GGBC
will give each of us comfort knowing that we are not the only one
or the first to deal with this emotion or that problem. Isn't that
good news! Please tell everyone you know about us. There will be
live author chats, contests and giveaways, a discussion board, a
monthly newsletter and for those of us who are willing-a community
challenge to read through the Bible in one year.
To quote William E. Gladstone, "Books are a delightful society.
If you go into a room filled with books, even without taking them
down from their shelves, they seem to speak to you, welcome you."
I pray that if you aren't already a voracious reader that your enthusiasm
for reading contemporary Christian fiction, Christian living and
spiritual growth books will be restored. From the many life issues
and topics that we will explore, there is something here just for
you!
