Love Has Many Faces

When I picked up LOVE HAS MANY FACES, I didn't know what to expect, but by the end of the first chapter, I was enthralled. This book outlines so many life struggles that every one of us are familiar with. The two themes that struck me the most were: friendship and staying true to oneself and one's principles. I was gripped by the strong friendship that Leslie and Robin shared, despite their differences.
The character Robin demonstrates a strong black woman not afraid to stay true to herself, her beliefs, and her love of God. Regardless of peer behavior, her losses in love, or her family problems, Robin remains a true role model. I would suggest this novel by a talented and up-and-coming author whole heartedly.
